James Woods

I stand before you

I stand before you,

I stand before you!
Entranced
by past visions
of your beauty.

You told me
that one-day
you would return.

I could not accept
your prophesies
of the powers of
Black Magic.

Yet, here you are.

You stand before me,
deliriously enticing,
captivating my very soul
and yet
to me,
you are an illusion.

Be it,
that you, my love,
my dream of the past,
can only be a dream?

I long for your closeness,
the love that was ours
to fulfil our desires.
Yet, cannot accept
the wizardry
of ancient times,
which
on earth
allows this pretence.

Be gone Dear One.
Evade this evil
that guides your thoughts.

One day
in a another dimension,
in our true place of dreams,
we shall meet again.
