Elizabeth Hatfield

Nothing

Secretly, silently none see my fall
In pain no one should hear my call
Friends stop  to stare, something is wrong
They turn away my cuts are so long

Every where i turn there are bricks of black
I can feel nothing, nothing but a lack
The dark swallows the light suffocating me
I need someone, something, oh why can't they see

Swiftly, softly I can't stop the fall
Damn the pain the burdn of the emotion haul
Of feeling nothing, nothing at all.
