Does Time Cry

Does Time cry when she´s alone?
Does Time cry on her great throne
standing in the Halls of Eternity?

She goes by – we whirl around and damn her
´cause we think she evily runs so fast on purpose
But it´s us who make her running.
It´s us who don´t appreciate her.
It´s us who give her a cloak of evilness.
For “nothing is our fault.“

Does Time cry when she´s alone?
Does Time cry on her great throne
standing in the Halls of Eternity?

In circles we go and in spirals run down
And one day the End will take all –
All but Time.
She´ll stay – just won´t be counted anymore
as no one will be left to count her.
And she´ll be free.

No one left to make her running.
No one left not appreciating her.
No one left to give her a cloak of evilness.

And Eternity will count our faults.
And we´ll be called to account for them.
