A daddy´s girl

He´s my protector

my guardian light

He remembers me

of the important things in life,

he remembers me of love

He cares for me

he makes me laugh, smile, feel loved

and I realize

he has everything I´ve ever wanted in a dad

he would do anything for me

and I don´t want to live without him

he repairs, he heals,

he´s the umbrella in the rain

and when life is grey

he paints it with all the beautiful colours

When I´m crying

he makes everything right again

he´s my teacher

he´s my joy

when I´m falling

he gives me wings

he´s a great dad

and I´m glad to be a daddy´s girl

He was always there

when I was a baby,

a little girl,

a teenager

and now when I´m an adult.

I thank you.

I hope we will spend a lot more time together,

traveling, laughing, learning, finding, having adventures, living life

and with all the other things we do

and with all the things that make life special.

Because he gives so much

and I´m proud to have him as my dad

and proud to be a daddy´s girl.

..and so I know I´ll always be a daddy´s girl
