My clothes and shoes

are everywhere.

I fell asleep in the rocking chair.

I sold all my toys,

and my teddy bear.

And still I don’t

know what to wear.

Yr Reader has somewhere a Picture of such a Little Miss, sent to him by his Writer after one of his forays into the pile on her desk.
That aside, you might try reworking thus a little -- the idea of selling ones toys to buy clothes (stockings?) and then still not being satisfied. Yr Reader likes the idea here.
