Laura Bosch

Alone in the night

I walk down across the streets
and all I can see is darkness.
The trees seem to look at me
but I try to ignore.

The stars lead me on my way back home,
alone in the night.
Everything's black, dark, silent and cold,
alone in the night.

I'm afraid of the shadows which move behind me
so my steps are getting faster.
My bad thoughts should disappear
to keep my soul clear.

The stars lead me on my way back home,
alone in the night.
Everything's black, dark, silent and cold,
alone in the night.

The fight in my heart makes me fall apart,
I'm still breathing but I don't feel alive.
The memories haunt me like bad drugs
and there's no chance to stop the trip.

The stars lead me on my way back home,
alone in the night.
Everything's black, dark, silent and cold,
alone in the night.

I walk across the streets again
with you at my side.
It's dark but I can see light,
it's brighter with you.
