On ne peut oublier un être cher
Mais surtout un être de lumière
Comme une maman!
Elle était présente à notre naissance
Et elle sut dompter ses souffrances

Elle accompagna nos premiers pas
Et de son amour nous enveloppa

Elle fut malade pour notre bonheur
Et apprivoisa mille et une douleurs
Comme une maman!
Elle veilla durant de longues nuits
Et ne donna point prise à l’ennui
Comme une maman!
Que peut-on finalement lui dire?
Sinon qu’on doit bien la chérir
Comme une maman!
