To a once beloved Friend


What did I do
that I deserve
your complete silence
or forgetfulness?
We were so close
 and loving friends,
I felt,
before we parted.

Is this the way
a friendship ends
that had its tenderness
and caring –
will ever we be sharing
again the fun  
we took in talking,
the joy we had 
by looking to the stars,
pleasure we felt
while walking
through fields and wood ?

We are apart
not only by mere distance
of thousand miles –
but still I hear
your voice and see
your look.
Then I believe
in our once so tight
relationship
and smile.
