Unexpected

~~Unexpected...

God-man born
expectations torn
He wasn't expected
He wasn't accepted
and so they rejected
The Son of God...

They expected a King,
of whom they
could sing:
" Power, and Glory on High"

But Born in a manger
and even stranger
to a Virgin and a Carpenter guy...

But now here's the Thing..
it's of This Jesus we sing...
this God-man, flesh- born
and crucified....

"Things are not always
what they seem,"
even now in 2013...
He uses the foolish things
to confound the wise....
