First film set…

 

 

 

For Grandma’s Birthday… 28th of April 1911…

Imagining The house front Bench… with oleanders…

 

 

 

Late… in the afternoon… the sun about to set… the air falls… into water drops of summer flowers scents… house walls mirror the red sun lights… Pot plants, flowerpots shaping the steps of a stone stair to… a green door… An old woman pouring water… very handsome… over the flowers…

 

Ripe French beans in the foreground… assemble a mountain with uncountable peaks… The seed-cases echo the early evening wind… A carpet in lemon-yellow and grass-green is going to save the first… peeled bean grains…

 

The old woman’s hands… earth-brown… Her face… taling a life shared with land-rains… dusty storms… winter-cold and spring-warm soils… waiting season for season… year after year… for… waiting for her hands… for her loving working… kindness…
