Fergal Dunne

Dark Eyes of The Cape

She twisted and she turned.

She was dark,

Mysterious and Beautiful.

Her hand entwined in mine.

Pefect skin.

So soft to touch.

She coated her lips in gloss.

I anticipated,

The passion in her kiss.

She smelt of Channel.

A princess,

In her Kingdom of pain.

She lite her cigarette.

We smoked,

Perfect and enchanting.

Her forehead touch mine

Eskimo kisses.

So Sweet to taste.

I watched her sleep.

I dreamed aloud.

Together? Not possible.

Her voice and mine.

The distant echoes,

Our worlds awake and turn.
