My Gift to You

My Gift to You

I bestow on you a lake of roses,
on its banks you can dream and relax.
I send you days which are clear and warm
since this meets your innermost tracks,
and a wind that carries all music your way
to let your heart, your soul, your body
swing in the same rhythmical sway.

I send you my love in which all passion, safety,
harmony  and trust in the world rests with you.
I reach out my hands to caress you all life long,
my arms may  never fail to support you
should the need to do so ever come true.
I give my heart in which you find a home
to beat together with yours every day.
This and much more I present to you
not only for now - but forever.
