Born on 1/10/1955 in a Bengal village in India. did masters in Mass Communication. presently settled in Delhi, India.
Have been writing short stories, plays, poems in Bangla and English published in periodicals from Kolkata and Delhi. One collection of poems 'Jibon Zatra' (Life, as is lived).
Translated articles, short stories, poems from Hindi and English to Bangla and vice-versa. Published work Kyaap(Bangla) Sahitya Akademi Award winning novel of the same name by Manohar Shyaam Joshi.
